Naturalist (and brother of Jurassic Park’s Richard Attenborough) David Attenborough unveiled plans this week for a new prehistoric museum attraction, Jurassica.
Attenborough is a patron of the £80 million project, which they hope to open in 2021 in Dorset, England. The highlight of the attraction will be Jurassic Cove (pictured above), a subterranean quarry that transports visitors 150 million years into the past with in-situ fossil deposits, ammonite beaches, robotic swimming plesiosaurs, and pterosaurs perched on rocky outcrops. Jurassic Cove will be the largest immersive prehistoric exhibit of its kind in the world.
